The Wilson College of Textiles Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP) consists of five one-week sessions for rising high school seniors interested in learning about the textile industry, fashion, engineering, polymer science and business marketing. Up to 35 students per week are chosen based on their academic success, extracurricular activities and interest in NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles.
During this week-long residential camp you’ll:
- Explore marketing, engineering, design or chemistry with hands-on projects in our state-of-the-art labs and studios.
- Live in our residence halls, eat in our dining halls and see what it’s like to be a college student.
- Tour industry leading manufacturers and brands.
- Connect with current students, alumni, faculty and staff.
- Learn more about admissions, degree programs and scholarships.
