Catalyst: Creating Opportunities in STEM For Students with Disabilities

Catalyst is a free, yearlong, international, national and local award winning program that serves high school Students with disabilities who are interested in STEM Careers.

We provide:

  • STEM Content and Skills
  • Workforce and College Readiness Skills
  • Paid STEM Internships
  • National Field Studies Trips
  • and some STEM Certifications

Attend our Open House on January 17, 2026 at 10 a.m. on NC State’s campus or our Virtual Open House on January 15, 2026 at 7 p.m. Sign up at go.ncsu.edu/catalyst-open-house-2026.

Students must attend if they want to enroll for June 2026-June 2027.

Must be a 9-12th grade student in North Carolina with an IEP, 504 Plan or a documented disability.
